Antonio Balsamo

Antonio Balsamo is the president of the Tribunal of Palermo and is an ad hoc judge of the European Court of Human Rights. Since 2017 he has also been an international judge of the Constitutional Court of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague. Previously, he served as Legal Advisor for the Permanent Mission of Italy to the United Nations, as a Deputy Prosecutor General of the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation and as the president of the Court of Assize of Caltanissetta.
