About this speaker
Alessandra is a Co-Founder and Volunteer of Anti-mafia association Comitato Addiopizzo Onlus, she deals with the producers of the Critical Consumers Campaign and its events and collaborates with Addiopizzo Travel.
From 2016 she is in the Board of the regional association for Critical Consumption and sustainable lifestyle Fa’ la cosa giusta! Sicilia.
In 2017 she goes, with another co-founder, to represent Addiopizzo to receive the Bremen Peace Award.
In 2018 she carried out the AddiopizzoStore Project: a web site and e-commerce that promotes critical consumption towards Sicilian producers who are saying no to the protection money and enhances the products of those part of the project by highlighting their value, selling these products as a short supply chain manifold. She has been dedicated since then to the progress and expansion of the project, also partecipating in national and international conferences about critical consumption and the Addiopizzo's campaign.
