About this Talk

In this webinar, we will explore challenges youth are facing as active citizens in Albania and how these challenges affect youth’s involvement in organized crime. We wish to create a community of practice – connecting them with like-minded organizations/peers from the region and bringing them together to discuss these challenges and ways of addressing them. Are youth included in decision making at the local, national or international level? Are their voices being heard? What are the main barriers to their civic engagement? And, in particular, in issues related to fighting organized crime? How do we bridge the gap between institutions and youth? How do we engage youth to become more active and engage in the sustainable development of their communities?

We will hear from our current Resilience Fund grantees in Albania, and other civil society organizations from the region working on building the resilience of youth to organized crime.
