About this Talk
In this webinar, speakers will present the findings of the recently published GI-TOC report "Portholes, exploring the Maritime Balkan Routes." They will showcase the features of the newly developed digital tool.
The research consists of an organized crime and corruption-based risk assessment of commercial ports in South Eastern Europe. The region is a crossroads for illicit trade, including drugs, cigarettes, counterfeits, and waste. Thanks to the digital tool, speakers will touch upon the study's main findings in an interactive fashion, draw on the report's conclusions, and discuss possible recommendations for policymakers and port security providers.
