Rumbi Matamba is a Rhodes University BA and LLB graduate. She is an LLM candidate at the University of Cape Town in the department of Public Law. Her thesis focuses on the application of feminist legal theory on landmark judgments addressing aspects of constitutional law, the law of evidence, criminal law, and property law.

She has a keen interest in research work that has the potential to shape public policy and has previously worked as a research assistant. Her research interests lie in the fields of criminology, feminist legal theory and governance.
