Oliver Gnad is the co-founder and managing director of the Bureau fuer Zeitgeschehen (Bureau of Current Affairs), a Frankfurt-based think-and-do-tank specialized in strategic foresight and scenario planning. He is also a senior advisor on geopolitics at Berlin Global Advisors, senior visiting fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, and a certified senior instructor of Globalytica Ltd. Previously, he served as director of GIZ AgenZ, an in-house consultancy of the German Agency for International Cooperation, and for international programmes of the ZEIT Foundation Bucerius in Hamburg. He holds a doctoral degree in contemporary history from Goethe University Frankfurt.
