About this speaker
Gabriel is the head of the Observatory of Illicit Economies in the Amazon Basin at GI-TOC. His work focuses on environmental crime, transnational drug trafficking and community responses to organized crime. Gabriel holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Cambridge.
