Ashleigh is the manager of the Wildlife and Law Project at the Endangered Wildlife Trust in South Africa. She is an environmental lawyer, currently undertaking a PhD in environmental law at the University of Cape Town and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Ashleigh has a keen interest in exploring legal approaches and solutions to complex conservation challenges. Her research focuses are environmental law, environmental offences and restorative justice.
