Alisa Davies

Alisa Davies is a Wildlife Trade Specialist working for the World Parrot Trust. She joined WPT after collaborating on her Masters Dissertation at the University of Exeter, where she used social media to investigate trade in wild birds from West Africa. She has published research on how social media is used to promote wildlife trade and on the illegal online trade in wild Grey parrots. Her work now involves monitoring the illegal parrot trade online and engaging with partners to advocate for better regulations and to disrupt harmful trade.
